Kazan international airport switches to winter schedule

Starting with October 29th air transportation is carried out according to winter schedule that includes the following domestic and international flights.

UVT Aero, which has obtained permission to operate international flights in September this year, continues to actively develop the routes. In the forthcoming winter navigation season the air carrier will continue to operate the flights to such newly opened destinations as Surgut, Novy Urengoy, Noyabrsk and Kaliningrad. Futhermore, the opening of the flight Kazan – Minsk is planned over the next months.

The number of flights from Kazan to Moscow, which is the key route of the Republic of Tatarstan, is increasing.

For instance, Ural Airlines started to perform morning flights to Domodedovo on Thursday. According to air carrier, the price for one-way ticket is starting at 2100 roubles.

Nordwind Airlines is extending the flight schedule which was launched in April this year with daily flights to Sheremetyevo: there will be evening departures performed to Moscow along with morning flights (departure from Kazan 19:15).

At the same time, Rossiya Airlines will continue performing daily flights to Vnukovo, which were opened in summer season 2017.

On average, 18 flights a day will be performed from Kazan to Moscow during winter season.

Daily flights of Nordavia Airlines to Saint-Petersburg will be remained in the schedule of the airport until March, 2018.

It is worth mentioning that in respect of international destinations there is an increase in frequency of flights to the UAE.

Flydubai starts to perform the flights to Dubai on a daily basis during winter season 2017/2018. On October 24, the flights on this route will be carried out by Ural Airlines twice a week. AZUR air as well will operate the flights to international airport Al-Maktoum to Dubai twice a week.

During winter season 2017/2018 passenger demand on departures to Czech is significantly increasing.

Czech Airlines increases frequency of flights to Prague. Apart from the flights performed on Monday and Thursday, the air carrier set the period of time for the flights on Saturday. There are a few flights on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Starting with November 1st , Rossiya Airlines opens charter flight schedule to Pardubice in the Czech Republic twice a week.

ITM Group and Turkmenistan Airlines suggested a unique tourist product to Russia – group travel programs to Turkmenistan with departure from Kazan. According to ITM Group, for the first time travel program was suggested to Russian tourists, consisting of familiarization with ancient culture of different ethnic groups in Turkmenistan, including 3 to 5 star hotel accommodation arrangement. If you take vacation package, tour operator will assist in visa arrangements. Kazan has become the first city to send arranged travel groups to Ashgabat.

The frequency of flights to Baku in September 2017 has increased to 7 flights a week. These flights will be operated by Azerbaijan Airlines and Buta Airways in winter season as well.

Starting with November 16th , the number of flights on the route Kazan - Tashkent will be increased to 4 times a week. The flights will be performed by Uzbekistan Havo Yullari.

Atlasglobal Airlines, which has opened scheduled flights to Antalya this year, considering the opportunity to continue the flights in winter season as well. A few departures to Antalya are planned by Azur air during winter holidays.

The flights on the route Kazan-Kamran and Kazan- Phuket are planned by Ikar Airlines and Azur air. It is expected that there will be 24 and 30 flights performed during winter season.

There are 25 tourist flights are planned to Goa that will be performed by AZUR air and Royal Flight. Futhermore, Royal Flight will operate 13 flights to U-Tapao airport (Pattaya).
