WorldSkills Kazan 2019 participants arrival in Kazan international airport name G. Tukay
For today Kazan international airport hosted more than 6000 participants of WorldSkills Kazan 2019. Most of them are arriving in the capital of Tatarstan on the regular flights from Moscow and Saint Petersburg on Aeroflot, Sibir and other carriers flights, as well as regular international flights of Turkish Airlines, Finnair, Smart Wings, Belavia, airBaltic and other airlines.
During WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Aeroflot increased capacity on the route Moscow (Sheremetyevo) - Kazan- Moscow (Sheremetyevo). Beneath will be used the world's largest twin-engine wide-body passenger airliner Boeing 777. At the same time Sibir airline increased more than three times the number of flights from Domodedovo – up to 17 per day.
Besides regular flights, participants are arriving in Kazan with the charter carriers like French ASL Airlines France and large Chinese carrier China Eastern Airlines. Beneath that VIP passengers are arriving on charter flights.
Such air movement intensity is expected on whole WorldSkills Kazan 2019 period and during several days after closing ceremony. Kazan international airport works in normal-mode, flights are performing according to the schedule. Departments of airport work under no timeline.
A total of period from 1 January to 20 August 2019 airport carried 2 162 000 passengers, 7 % more than in relation to previous year. The traffic volume grow is defined during all period.
The 45th World championships for professional skills WorldSkills International (WSI) will be held in Kazan from 22 to 27 August 2019. The championship will bring together young professionals from 63 countries and regions, competing in 56 skills.
