A new flight toTomsk from Kazan airport was met with a water salute

A regular flight to Tomsk by Nordwind opened at Kazan international airport. According to aviation tradition, after landing the aircraft proceeded under a water salute created on the taxiway with the help of fire trucks’ water hoses. More than dozen of photo and video correspondents, as well as aviation spotters took pictures of this welcome ceremony on the ramp of Kazan airport on July 6.

High-ranking guests took part in the opening ceremony like Ayrat Sadykov, Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan; Aigul Balakhontseva, Deputy Chairman of State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan; Anton Mattis, Deputy Director General, Commercial Director of Nordwind airline; Sergey Romantsov, Director General of Kazan international airport.

During this event it was noted that Nordwind plans to open new four routes from Kazan airport in the autumn: Novokuznetsk, Irkutsk, Bishkek and Grozny. And in general, they worked out the route program for next 3 years.

A flight to Tomsk is available for citizens of Tatarstan and nearby regions twice a week.

Wednesdays:

·       Departure from Kazan at 01:50, arrival in Tomsk at 09:00;

·       Return flight at 10:30, landing at Kazan airport at 09:40.

Sundays:

·       Departure from Kazan at 01:00, arrival in Tomsk at 08:10;

·       Return flight at 09:20, landing at Kazan airport at 08:50.

The local time is given for each airport. The time in Tomsk is 4 hours ahead of Moscow time. Flight time will be about 3 hours. There may be changes in the schedule!
